Dear Friend:

Writing a letter of this sort is something rather foreign to me—on one other occasion for a Bob Jones University graduate running for national office, I urged the support of Christians for him. Though I am not nearly so well acquainted with Nathan Tabor, our paths have crossed often enough to make me confident that his conservative, dynamic, and uncompromising positions would represent his district mighty well in the U.S. House of Representatives.

There can’t be too many voices like that in Washington to suit me and I suspect, to suit you. The cacophony of liberal lunacy is deafening and destructive.

Voices with biblical understanding, constitutional regard, and good common sense are growing too few and far between. Our national legislative health depends on more of them arriving on the Washington scene. I believe Nathan Tabor will not disappoint any of us.

Nathan is co-owner of a successful family business near Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Revival Soy employs over 130 people and occupies a 56,000-square-foot center. As the head of sales and marketing, Nathan has helped Revival Soy achieve an average annual growth of 200% a year in sales.
I need you to take two steps for Nathan. First, pray for him. Running for office is a difficult venture and Nathan needs the wisdom and energy that comes only from the Lord.

Second, I ask you to become a volunteer or financial donor to Nathan’s campaign for Congress.

Nathan is a leading candidate in a competitive “open-seat” Republican primary. The candidate winning the primary will almost certainly win the general election.

I would not ask you to join me in this effort for Nathan if I did not think his candidacy is important.
