National Republican Fundraiser Joins Tabor for Congress Campaign

Catherine Hayes Signs on as Finance Director

Kernersville, NC – Professional fundraiser, Catherine Hayes, has joined the Tabor for Congress campaign as Finance Director. In this capacity, Catherine will guide the day-to-day fundraising operations for the campaign. Catherine has previously helped the fundraising efforts of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), former Majority Leader Dick Armey, and Congressional candidate Geoff Davis (KY-4) among others.

“ The Tabor for Congress campaign is honored to have Catherine join our team. Our momentum and strength continues to grow. With Mary Comer and Catherine our fundraising is likely to double again like it did last quarter,” said Tabor.

Hayes indicated her enthusiasm about joining the Tabor Team. “I am very excited about working for Nathan Tabor. After being in Washington, DC for five years, I know we need a conservative, principled and strong leader to continue the service of Congressman Richard Burr,” said Hayes.

As a Regional Finance Coordinator for the National Republican Congressional Committee, Catherine was in daily contact with over 750 major Republican donors from the Midwest and Central regions of the country. She also served as the primary contact for Republican Members of Congress from the Midwest and Central regions when planning NRCC fundraising events.

During her tenure with Majority Leader Armey, Hayes served as Deputy Director of the leadership PAC, the Majority Leader’s Fund. “I am very honored to have served such a strong and conservative leader as Mr. Armey, and I’m just as proud to work for Nathan Tabor,” Hayes said. “With so many candidates in this race, I looked around and saw that Nathan Tabor is the only candidate who can carry the mantle of conservative leadership for the 5th District.”

Catherine is the second youngest of nine children, and her parents reside in Atascadero, California. When Hayes is not on the campaign trail, she works on her Bachelor’s degree in Government and International Politics at George Mason University.
