Kernersville, NC -- In a letter released today, leading conservative economist Arthur Laffer endorsed conservative Nathan Taborís TABOR Plan. Laffer stated that ìwe need more candidates for Congress like Nathan who are committed to the core conservative principles of lower taxes, limited government and fiscal discipline.î Laffer said the TABOR Plan, if implemented, would ìput our country on sound economic groundî.

ìI am very pleased that a leading economist, Ronald Reaganís economist for eight years, would offer his support for our TABOR Plan,î said Tabor. ìUnlike a lot of politicians and candidates, we have tried to give voters an honest and detailed idea of where we stand on the issues. Tabor also reemphasized his commitment to the core economic principles of lower taxes, limited government and fiscal discipline. ìI believe it is absolutely imperative that we continue to lower taxes and control the size of government,î continued Tabor. ìWith budget deficits now exceeding $500 billion it is vitally necessary that Congress begin to show the fiscal discipline necessary to bring this problem under control. In Congress, I will not stand by idly like many politicians and support wasteful spending that continues to drag our country further into debt.î
