Tabor Endorsed By "The Republican Wing of the Republican Party"

Tabor Gains Endorsement of NCRA with 80% of the Vote

Kernersville, NC ≠ On Saturday, the North Carolina Republican Assembly (NCRA) held it's endorsing convention at the Statesville Civic Center in downtown Statesville. The delegates to the convention heard from candidates in many races in North Carolina and selected their favorites for the upcoming July 20th Primary.

In the 5th District, Nathan Tabor was the favorite with over 80% of the vote's cast thereby easily winning the endorsement of the conservative organization. Candidates had to receive 2/3rds majority from the delegates to win the endorsement. The NCRA is dedicated to working within the
Republican Party to promote the active participation of their members toward the endorsement, support, and election of principled conservative Republican candidates. The group dubs itself as "The Republican Wing of the Republican Party."

As history shows, the California Republican Assembly, which the national organization is based, was responsible for propelling Ronald Reagan to the office of Governor in California. Since that time the group has grown into a national organization.

Nathan Tabor, who could not attend the convention because of a hectic campaign schedule said, "I am thrilled to pick of this endorsement from the most conservative members of our party. This is a real shot in the arm since the convention was conducted in the 5th District. Our supporters have long been a part of this organization here in North Carolina since it's inception and they stand for exactly what I do: protection of life, for lower taxes, and for Republicans who act like Republicans. I am deeply honored and will not let this group down. I intend to win the Republican nomination and fight for the unborn, for Christian values, and for what is best for the 5th District."

Many of the convention attendees wore Tabor for Congress stickers and left with Tabor yard signs. Campaign staffer, Chris Corrigan, said: "This is what Republican primaries are all about. You stick to your message and recruit as many voters as you can. This is a great win for Nathan and our campaign. We are clearly the choice for conservative voters."
