Pastors Letter Dear
Pastor: Today,
I’m running for Congress in our district because I want to take
these time-tested values to a place that really needs them – Washington,
D.C. For too long we’ve seen liberals ridicule faith, and work to drive every reference of God from our culture. From attacking the traditional family by pushing for same-sex marriages to removing the Ten Commandments from public places, our Nation’s faith-based values are under attack. Last year, I took a leading role bringing Greg Laurie’s Harvest Crusade to Winston-Salem because we need to spread the Gospel. I’m also active in a community businessmen’s Bible study that seeks to disciple leaders. This Bible study is led twice a week by my father, who is also an ordained Baptist minister. On the issues, I’m a strong, pro-family conservative who will stand unflinchingly for our values including: * Protecting
innocent human life as a precious gift from God. So, I’m trekking across our district talking to folks about the importance of this campaign. Recently
you received a letter from my pastor, Dr. Howard Wilburn, introducing
me to you. Now I am, along with my Pastoral Steering Committee, hosting
a pastor’s luncheon in your area. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. You and I both know the need, now more than ever, Christians to get involved in the affairs of our Nation. So, I ask you to join me at lunch for a time of fellowship. You can contact me at 336-993-0929 or Nathan@taborforcongress.com. I look forward to seeing you. Sincerely, For more information about Nathan Tabor and his campaign, those interested are encouraged to call (336) 993-0929 or visit www.taborforcongress.com. |
