Dear Pastor:

I’m writing to tell you about a committed Christian leader who is running for Congress in our 5th District.

His name is Nathan Tabor and he, and his wonderful family, are active members of our church. More importantly, Nathan loves Jesus Christ and puts his faith into action on a daily basis in the service of our Lord.

Last year, Nathan took a leading role in helping bring Harvest Crusade to Winston-Salem because he knows the need to spread the Gospel. He’s active in a community men’s Bible study that seeks to disciple leaders.

On the issues, Nathan Tabor is a strong pro-family conservative. He will stand unflinchingly for protecting innocent life in Congress because he knows that life begins at conception and that it is a precious gift from God.

Having grown up under the preaching of his father, Nathan knows the importance of protecting the family. Nathan will:

* Sponsor legislation recognizing marriage as between one man and one woman.
* Defend the rights of parents as they seek to raise their children.
* Oppose those who seek to eliminate references to God and faith from our Nation’s culture.

With our current congressman, Richard Burr, running for the United States Senate, we must elect a new congressman.

That is why I’m asking you to consider supporting Nathan for Congress before the Republican primary. In addition, I urge you to take a few moments to talk with Nathan. He will be truly honored to come meet with you or to talk with you on the telephone.

President Bush is demonstrating how important it is to have committed, faith-based leaders in public office. Now in Nathan Tabor, we have the opportunity to send another committed Christian to work with him in Congress.
